The French is a light, bright and airy south-facing barn. The sun floods through the three huge arched windows to create a great place to relax and read.
The view of the courtyard reveals your own patio with furniture together with extra seating on the horse worn cobbles.
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each at either end of the barn you can enjoy privacy and the space to relax.
Chill your bubbles in the wine fridge and begin to unwind in front of the wood-burning stove. With a smart TV you can catch up on all your favourite streaming shows.

Classically french
This classically French interior-designed barn suite features a chic master bedroom with double-door connecting en-suite, fitted with a sumptuous roll top bath and separate shower.
The large open living and kitchen area allows for easy entertaining and relaxation. The fully-fitted Farrow & Ball hand-painted kitchen units and granite worktops house all your catering needs to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, including oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave and even a separate wine fridge. .
You’ll find complimentary teabags, sugar and ground coffee for your morning cafetiere.
A feature fireplace in the lounge surrounds a wood-burning stove, nearby the stylish sofa and armchairs create a relaxing space after a day in the great Northumbrian countryside.
You’ll have complimentary WiFi for streaming your Netflix films and keeping in touch with family and friends.
The second bedroom has an en-suite shower room thereby giving everyone privacy and comfort. This room may accommodate either a super king sized bed or twin singles to suit your preference.
The French overlooks the pretty courtyard where parents can keep a watch-full eye on small children.
bedrooms & Bathroom
As you enter the French you will find the first of two lovely bedrooms ahead of you. The Louis XV inspired bedstead and fabrics create a relaxing atmosphere. A small wardrobe and a chest of drawers provide storage. A small smart TV is included.
The spacious family bathroom may be accessed both from this bedroom as well as the corridor. The bathroom includes a large roll top bath and a walk-in shower.
The second bedroom is located at the opposite end of the barn and further storage can be found with a large chest of drawers and a small wardrobe. This room can be configured with separate beds upon request. The en-suite has a walk-in power shower.
You’ll find fluffy towels and toiletries in both bathrooms.

CONSIDERING GUESTS WITH MOBILITY ISSUES
If you wish to avoid a staircase, you may wish to consider either this French barn or The Opulent barn suite. The Opulent provides Accessibility Level 1 and has three entry options into the living area, kitchen plus a door directly into the main bedroom. The shower room is large and accessible with a seat.
