Falstone Barns Booking
Terms and Conditions

By using our website, on-line booking service, or where you have been given notice of these terms and conditions prior to your stay, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. “You” refers to all persons named on the booking and “we” and “us” refer to Falstone Barns.  Your contract is with Paula James, owner of Falstone Barns.

 

Booking. Bookings are non-transferable.  The personal who makes the booking will be treated as doing so on behalf of and with the consent of all the persons for whom the booking is made.  You are responsible for all charges, the safety of your group and the general housekeeping of the barn during your stay.

 

Check-in and Check-out.  Your barn should be available to you from 1600 hours on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 1000 hours on the day of departure.  Early check-in from 1300 hours and late check out at 1200 hours are available by prior arrangement at a supplemental charge of £25 each.

Keys. Keys should be left on the outside of the door at departure.  Lost keys are a chargeable item.

 

General Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to cancel your booking at any time please contact us.  If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival or you have a non-refundable booking then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.  If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival than a charge equal to 50% of the booking will be made. 

No-show or reduction:

In the event of a no-show or booking reduction after your arrival date, the full cost of the booking is charged.

Price.  The full cost is due at the time of booking. Prices are inclusive of VAT.  The price does not include the cost of any other chargeable services which you might use during your stay.  You will be charged for any use you make of these services at the rates current at the time of your stay.

 

Breakages and damages. Any damage to property, including all furniture and fixtures and fittings or to any area with the Falstone Farm Estate caused by your misuse or neglect will be subject to charges to the card used for your booking.  The cost of damages will be at our discretion and will be calculated on replacement of items damaged, cleaning required, labour required for reparation and any loss of income due to the barn being unavailable to let.

 

Right of entry.  We are entitled to enter your barn in an emergency, for repair or otherwise.

 

Parking and Property.  Free parking is available to guests onsite.  We do not take any responsibility for any damage or loss to your property and parking is at your risk.

 

Supervision.  All children and adults requiring supervision must be accompanied at all times.  Parents should note that a river, stream and pond exist close by and should supervise children at all times whilst on the Falstone Farm Estate.

 

Dogs.  Dogs are not permitted in order to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness.

 

Events outside our control.  We shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under our contract with you that is caused by events outside our reasonable control such as serious adverse weather conditions, pandemic or epidemic, interruption or failure of utility services such as electricity, water or WiFi.

 

Wifi.  We cannot guarantee the availability of the WiFi service.

 

Our liability to you.  In the event that a barn is not available by your scheduled check-in time, our sole liability will be to use reasonable endeavours to offer you alternative accommodation in the Falstone Farm Estate or at another nearby venue of a similar standard for a similar price.  Our total liability to you for any loss you suffer will be limited to the total price paid for your booking.  Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability for any matter which would be unlawful to exclude or limit.

 

Your liability.  You will be liable for the cost of your booking plus the cost of any damage you cause to your barn or to other areas of Falstone Farm Estate. 

 

Insurance. We recommend you obtain adequate travel insurance to include cancellation of the booking, force majeure, loss and personal injury.

 

All written communications by you to us in relation to these terms must be sent to Falstone Farm, Falstone NE48 1AA.

 

These terms shall be governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
