Step inside the Romantic and you’ll find your ideal hideaway for two. It’s cosy and warm with a wood-burning stove for the colder evenings and a little private patio to dine alfresco in the summer days.
The first thing you may notice is your tree which is a lovely way to celebrate the beautiful nature which surrounds you at Falstone Barns and nearby Kielder Water and Kielder Forest Park.
Your fully-fitted kitchen caters for all your cooking needs and your lounge area with Pugin red walls and ochre sofa are the perfect way to relax after a day’s adventures or star-gazing in Britain’s biggest Dark Sky Park.

INFANTS & SMALL CHILDREN
This barn is ideal for a couple or a solo traveller. An infant with a travel cot could be accommodated provided you are willing to negotiate the staircase. The French barn suite is most suitable for families with small children as all the facilities are on the ground floor. The Classic and the Opulent can also accommodate small children provided you are happy to negotiate the stairs associated with each.
CONSIDERING GUESTS WITH MOBILITY ISSUES
The chunky staircase and low beams on the mezzanine floor may be unsuitable for those with mobility issues. If you wish to avoid such issues you may wish to consider our other barns. The Opulent provides Accessibility Level 1 and has three entry options into the living area, kitchen plus a door directly into the main bedroom. The shower room is large and accessible with a seat.
